This Kit can do 100 tests for each Nutrient, i.e. 500 tests in all.
It also gives fertilizer recommendations on the basis of the soil quality of the sample soil.
It is portable and easy to handle and can do the testing in the farmers field itself, in 15 minutes only. Since it is a very simple testing procedure, the farmers can also do the tests themselves, with the easy instructions provided.
The purpose is primarily to help the Farmers determine, what nutrients (fertilizers) are actually required by their soil, after this scientific assessment.
Performance Range:
I. Organic carbon test. (15-30 minutes) * Range :1 % - 7%
II. Nitrogen Test (2- 5 minutes) * Range: 0.01% - 0.5%
III. Phosphorus Test (5 minutes) * Range: 0.01% - 0.4%
IV. Potash Test (5 minutes) * Range: 0.05% - 3.5%
V. pH Test (2-5 minutes) * Range: 4-11
* Minutes taken are the time taken for the Colour to Develop to match with the Colour Chart
